Which version of SableVM exactly? Original 1.0.9? Current staging?

See this document and check whether you have all the needed versions
of auto* tools installed.

This requires working 'make dist', which currently works for sablevm
in staging so I could put up a tarball for you, BUT it doesn't seem
to work for sablevm-classpath (see other mails from yesterday/today).

I think that as soon as it's fixed - you can expect 1.1.0 release
which naturally won't require you to run autogen.sh.

But I'd rather suggest trying to figure out what is wrong and why
autogen.sh doesn't work for you. Can you check the versions, as
I said above, and can you provide full error output?
