Not your fault.  I guess every project has to debate some technical
details from time to time.  I hope we're done for a little while. ;-)

Just in case you did not know, you automatically gain CVS write access
when you are added as a developer of the project (on the SF project
page).

To set your local snapshot for write access, you have to read the SF
documentation and the instructions in:

(Developer CVS Access via SSH)
  http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=5523

(Other CVS/SSH related docs).

The /doc directory has already been added, so you simply need to "cvs
add doc/yourdoc ; cvs commit" when you are ready.
