SaberNet DCS V1.03 Released

The developers of SaberNet DCS, an enterprise labor Data Collection System, are pleased to release version 1.03. Designed with efficiency in mind and optimized for bar code input, SaberNet DCS is the perfect way for organizations to automate and improve the accuracy of their time and labor tracking.

DCS 1.03 includes an extremely powerful job ganging feature. When an employee is ganged onto multiple jobs at once and they need to end at least one of them, the new end activity screen allows them to specify an exact percentage of their time spent on each of the ganged jobs. This new feature will allow for more accurate reporting and will keep administrators from having to manually edit the time records.

Version 1.03 also features support for Python plugins. By embedding the powerful Python scripting language inside of DCS, new features and functionality can easily be added and customized to your specific needs. Plugins can be called in response to predefined system events (e.g. clock in / clock out). So if you need your HR manager to be emailed when an employee clocks in late or if you want to automatically order a pizza when you clock out to lunch, simply write a plugin to do it. And while you are at it, share it with the rest of the world in the SaberNet DCS SourceForge.net Plugin Repository.

This new version also includes:
** Speed optimizations for the "Single Job" and "Job Ganging" and "Setup" screens
** Additional logic built in to reduce the steps needed to log onto and off of jobs
** An updated GUI
