Category: s3cmd Group: Malfunction Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: setacl doesn't set ACLs Initial Comment: Executing "s3cmd setacl --acl-public --recursive s3://bucket/subfolder" doesn't actually grant read (or any) access to everyone. I discovered this when a colleague was unable to access the subfolder. Checking ACLs with s3fox showed only the default permissions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Michal Ludvig (ludvigm) Date: 2010-02-03 21:48 Message: What version is it? Works for me. Does running it with --verbose reveal anything suspicious?
