Is there a way to suppress WARNING output when running s3cmd? I see command line options to *increase* verbosity, but no "quiet" mode.
Reason: I run s3cmd sync via cron nightly, and periodically receive email cron-spam when my sync task is throttled. I would like to suppress these sorts of messages without resorting to /dev/null IO redirects which mask errors.
WARNING: Upload failed: ( Broken pipe)
WARNING: Retrying on lower speed (throttle=0.00)
WARNING: Waiting 3 sec…
I would also like a quiet mode, for the same reason. I also don't want a list of all changed files in the output.
As a quick and dirty workaround, you can pipe the output through "grep -v" with some patterns to remove the lines you don't want to see.
