Hello

I'm using:

[root@server3 server3]# s3cmd --version
s3cmd version 1.0.0

When I upload a file to S3 EU bucket I have this error message:

[root@server3 server3]# s3cmd put --rr --bucket-location=EU file.tgz s3://robertxxx

Is not an AWS issue, AWS is working well.

Best regards

This is simply S3 being slow at the moment. s3cmd does provably upload to EU buckets (the built-in test suite uploads to EU buckets by default).

Also note that the default socket_timeout value (check your ~/.s3cfg file) was raised from '10' to '300' after the 1.0.0 release. This can greatly affect this issue, as the timeout was too low before.
