The user interface does not allow the user to enter
passwords longer than 8 characters. My root password
is longer than that and there seems to be no way
around this.

It seems that the default maximum length in the Series 60
SECRETED resource is eight characters. This needs to be
increased to a more useful value.

Increasing priority, this seems to bite a lot of people and
should be easy to fix. Target to release a new beta with
this fixed in a few days.
