===============

README of S-CACert, located at https://git.sdaoden.eu/scm/s-cacert.git
(browse it at https://git.sdaoden.eu/browse/s-cacert.git).

This repository rather provides only one file: cacert.pem, which
contains a bundle of CA Root Certificates in PEM (Privacy Enhanced Mail)
format to be used for secure transport (transport layer security, TLS).

It is an irregularly updated, and thus very likely a bit out-of-date,
and definitely non-authoritative, automatically extracted and -converted
version of the Mozilla certificate data pool, downloaded and extracted
by the well-known script from the cURL project, mk-ca-bundle.pl, the
original of which can be found within https://github.com/curl/curl.

That pool then is supplemented by local changes configured via local.rc.
At the time of this writing this includes no additions but some removals
of things with elder algorithms, or things that do not come to me at
a glance (and do not seem to be needed for my purpose).
