I'm running rxvt 2.6.4 under Cygwin 1.3.22-1 (Win2000).
I am seeing rxvt crash when I ssh or telnet into a remote
machine (across a LAN or WAN) and paste text into a
text document that I am editing.

Specifically, this problem happens if I paste about 10,000
characters into the document that I am editing (usually
with vi). I have tried to duplicate this when I edit a
document locally on my disk and I haven't found any
problems at all.

This issue is very reproducable... I have also found the
same issue when I run rxvt under blackbox wm under
cygwin, and I have also reproduced the same issue under
rxvt 2.7.10.

This is a big problem for me, since I routinely need to
paste large screen captures.

I use the following perl script to generate the text for
problem replication...

perl -e 'for($x=1; $x<=2500; $x++) { print "aaa\n"; }'

I then paste this text into the document, which never
fails to generate a crash.
