Yes, it is possible to communicate with multiple databases.
It is possible since RUNA WFE 1.0
In RUNA WFE 2.0 we add bots to simplify this task.
All you need is to know SQL of you favorit RDBMS.
Also RUNA WFE it self can run on different databases. Oracle,MS SQL Server, HSQL,MySQL,PostgreSQL are tested. In theory Interbase/Firebird and DB2 are also supported.
