Ok I must be doing something wrong because I can only download 1 to 5 kbs. I'am uploading at 5 to 20 kbs. I am not on a router. My provider is rogers cable. Can someone help me PLEASE.

Are you sure it's not just the torrent you are on?
Have you waxed your wire? Candle wax is cheap and it does the trick, you don't need to buy any expensive stuff.
If that doesn't work then its the torrent. Even the wax can't help you sometimes..
Port forwarding helps as well. You need to give a little bit more info about what situation.
