My home network has a linux router that controls all routing in my network on a ip range of 192.168.0/24 and the other computers are on a range of 192.168.1.0/24. Obviously I've got routing taken care off with two nic addresses and forward everything properly. One thing however that I'm trying to do is to forward the web interface port to my winxp computer. Thus far I get a timed out situation.
I haven't tried yet but I will is to mount the directory on to my linux webserver which can be done however I'm not sure if anyone has found an alternate solution to this. Also if someone has tried it and succeeded can they provide me with some info on how they got it to work?

Don't worry got it working. For some reason I have to specify everything on separate lines with my linux router instead of creating ranges for some reason meh stupid me.

Wierd now I can't access it. I tested it last night when I posted the messges. The computer is still running but for some reason I'm still getting timed out???

http://strikeforce.dyndns.org/ There is link that should take you to rufus. Other people can get access it for some reason but I can't which has got me stumped it seems to me that something on my firewall is stopping me from connecting but is allowing other people to connect fine?

Yeah stupid thing is I'm running it on my work computer with the same port. So as I connect to port 7007 at home from work it would receive it at work and redirect it to port 7007 at work. So I could never view it. Once I closed 7007 at work I could see it.
I'm dumb atm :D

I can't seem to find where the webpages are stored what directory are they stored in?
Hey,
Is the windows XP firewall getting in the way? Can you monitor attempted connections to your XP box. There is an application called Active Ports which I use for that sometimes: http://www.download.com/3000-2085-10062969.html?part=65960&subj=dlpage&tag=button
The web pages themselves are hard coded into Rufus and are generated on-the-fly.

I doubt its that though cause I've tried turning off my firewall and still get timed out. Hence I'm trying to run it over the internet :D
On the local network its all good.
It must be port forwarding on my linux router though thats causing the issue.
