Using python-mode.el with Rudel causes the minibuffer to display "Using the CPython shell" constantly making the minibuffer unusable.

I disabled python-mode.el to use the bulit-in Emacs python support and this issue goes away.

Thank you for the bug report.

Please state which versions of Rudel and python-mode.el you used. For python-mode.el: where can it be obtained?

Does the problem occur in published buffers which are in python-mode or does it appear globally?

I'm using rudel-0.2-4 and python-mode 5.1.0.

python-mode.el can be downloaded from https://launchpad.net/python-mode

The problem appears only in buffers that I am subscribed in python-mode.

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the problem (with the trunk version, 5.1.0+, of python-mode).

Can you try to reproduce with a newly started Emacs and then give a detailed explanation how to produce the problem?
