Ruby File Synchronizer release 0.7.1

Here comes a brand new bugfix release of the File Synchronizer which receives version 0.7.1. It is still in state "beta".

I would be greatly honoured if you could give me some feedback about your experiences with this new release.

New functionalities
-------------------
This release contains the following functionalities, which make the tool more useful (at least in my opinion).

* Display special characters (e.g. german umlauts) correctly
* Show progress bar when setting the differences to the lists (better usability on big differences)
* show and update copy size if synchronization would be executed in brand new status bar

Bugfixes
--------
The following bugs have been fixed in this release.

* Folders which existed on both synchronization folders lead sometimes to program hangups
* Remove files did not synchronize
* The application broke down when loading a synchronization file and then clicking on the root node
* The application broke down when changing the view to the list view and then loading a synchronization file
* When refreshing differences the list and hierarchy views are cleared at start, because otherwise some old data could stay there and lead to problems
* Removed console error message, because it lead to break downs on the windows executable created with --rubyscript2exe-rubyw parameter

Known issues
------------
After synchronizing differences the progress bar stays. 'Til now I was not able to find out why this happens. This error should be fixed in the next release

TODOs
-----
So what is missing for future versions?

* Allow the permanent ignorance of files and folder for a synchronization profile
* An icon for the application (Yes... still nobody wanted to help me... -> Help wanted!!!)
* Internationalization support (might be that I have to wait until the Fox toolkit allows it)
* Create a client/server application
* Create a user documentation... Yes... That's always the last thing to do in a project ;-) It would be nice, if somebody could volunteer.

I hope to receive some feedback from you! Tell me what you like and what you dislike. Tell me about your ideas!

Your sincerely,
