[Sorry, about that last message, pressed the wrong key, didn't meant to send that last message as it was... The key bindings from one programmer's editor -- burned into my hands -- occasionally conflicts with Outlook, causing me grief like this occasionally. I need to file a bug for users to be able to override Outlook's send-message feature...] Anyway, I wanted to make sure that the Ruby/.NET people here knew about a .NET-centric mailing list for people writing .NET IL compilers. This site http://gotdotnet.com/team/lang/ has a pointer to the list. Or see http://discuss.microsoft.com/archives/dotnet-language-devs.html (you have to subscribe to get access to the archives.) There are a bunch of good people on this list, people with lots of compiler experience (from the .NET and Visual Studio teams as well as numerous commercial companies and open source compiler projects), and .NET IL experience. It would be worthwhile for people on this list to leverage the experience they have. Lee |
