The template works as expected, it's just that creating new documents  
are not handled by it. It appears that the objc template branches the  
new menu item action to the first responder's 'newDocument:', while  
the ruby one doesn't. Doing this fixes the "problem".

I marked this as a bug, thanks for the report.
