Hmmm. If you have an external disk or something which can be wiped you
could try to install osx on there and see if compiling rc goes ok.

If so you can either copy over the bridgesupport files that were
created in the config phase and use that.
Or it might be a good time to do an "Archive & Install" of osx, this
gives you a 99% fresh installation but keeps your user etc.
