hi rup,

i haven't worked on the embedded stuff for a few months, so maybe it
stopped working with newer releases of tiger.  i was also using my own
ruby build for embedding versus the system ruby 1.8.2.

could you please email me the compile errors?  i'll take a look at them
this weekend.  this is a good coincidence, because i was planning on
dusting off the embedded changes and cleaning them up a bit.
