Hi all! I am on my first ruby-gnome application, and I could need help. I hope I am asking the right people. Feel free to redirect me if I am in the wrong place. I have made an IMAP4 monitor to scan for old messages in mailing lists, and delete them on the user's click of a button. I create a Gtk::TrayIcon and add a Gtk::Button with a Gtk::Label on it. It all works fine except that the text of the label is displayed to low and is cut at the lower end. Compared to the default date/clock on the tray it looks bad. My guess is that there is a border that needs to be trimmed somewhere, but eberything I have tried has had no effect. Reducing the font size helps a bit, but leaves to much space around the text. Can you help me get it right? I include the relevant code:
Gtk.init label = Gtk::Label.new label.label = "IMAP Monitor" button = Gtk::Button.new button.relief = Gtk::RELIEF_NONE button.add(label) tray = Gtk::TrayIcon.new('OldMessages') tray.add(button) tray.show_all Gtk.main
|
