[ruby-gnome2-devel-en] another problem with cvs version

I have updated my system to
gtk 2.0.6
ruby 1.7.3
and updated my ruby-gnome2 from cvs today

compiling glib2 and gtk2 works without problems but I can not load
gtk2

irb(main):001:0> require "glib2"
true
irb(main):002:0> require "gtk2"
irb: relocation error: /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.7/i686-linux/gtk2.so: undefined 
symbol: Init_gtk_inits


any ideas what went wrong here?
