ruby/gtk2 Text entry field is uneditable

OS: Windows 7 home premium
Programs Tested: sample programs in
http://ruby-gnome2.sourceforge.jp/hiki.cgi?tut-gtk2-numtxt-entry
ruby: 1.9.3.p327 [i386-mingw32]
gtk2: 1.1.6 [x86-mingw32]

Trouble: Text entry field remains uneditable.

When I use the older version gtk2, it works normally.
