[ruby-gnome-users-en] glade shortcut keys

can anyone help me and tell me how to setup shortcut keys with glade?

i need to add a shortcut to a text field such that when Enter is pressed
an event is thrown.

also, the accelorators i added to my menus do not seem to work if any
widget has gained the focus.
