My 3060's hard drive crashed - makes noise won't boot.
Maxtor swapped out replacement drive under warranty.
Are there any ground/boot up system load patches-ie no
source to copy from?

I had success when I received the following as a response on
another forum:
Go to ftp://replay:giveme@ftp.kdhnews.com/ and open the
images folder. Look in the replay folder and download
Showstopper&replay30xximage3.02.zip
Inside that zipped file is the disk image, instructions and
software needed to make a replay drive.
(I had Win2K on my PC so I used that versoin of the setup-
otherwise you have to follow the Linux approach)
Your win2K PC should work just fine. If your secondary IDE
position is set to auto you shouldnt have to change
anything in PC bios. You will be mirroring the disk image from
your windows. Connect the replay drive to the secondary IDE
ribbon (disconnect your CDROM if its already using that IDE
position).
Mine works just fine right now, but I had to install a fan and
remove the protective EZ-Bake enclosure from the hard drive
due to heat which caused skipping initially.
Good Luck
