I connected a Seagate 400GB hard drive to the ReplayTV 5040 using RTVPatch_2.5.3 and it worked for about 5 minutes, then it froze.
Details of hard drive: Model ST3400633A 7200rpm 16MB Cache
Any recommendations as to what to do next?
I will probably do a low-level format on the hard drive and try again.
