Documentation say RTAI 3.3 and Linux kernel 2.6.x or better is required while current RTAI version is 5.* and Kernel is 4.* so I want to check if there is any activity in this project?

The original project repository was practically retired for quite a
while now. But the caravan moved on, luckily, merged the code into
Xenomai 3 and started the overdue renovation there. Yes, that also
implies the official discontinuation of RTAI support (probably not a big
surprise any more).
