Hi all, in order to make correct use of IRQ handling functions stacked upon RTAI/fusion's Xenomai nucleus (e.g. the functions of the rtai_native skin), the RTOS abstraction layer had to be changed slightly. RTAI/fusion expects to use a handle structure for referring to requested IRQs, while old RTAI and also Linux only needed the IRQ number. Therefore, I modified rtnet_sys_xxx.h appropriately. Unfortunately, also the drivers had to be changed. I already did this for any driver execept the 3com and the still broken PPC drivers. See README.drvporting for details - sorry, it's still a quite unordered list. Yuchen, you don't need to hurry porting these changes also to the firewire branch - at least as long as it is 2.4-only, fusion will not run with it anyway. Jan |
