I have a wireless PCI card with a rtl8185 chip. I noticed that the Linux kernel driver doesn't support master or ad-hoc mode, but your driver does. I also noticed that you develop both drivers. My question is when will the master/ad-hoc modes be available in the kernel driver? This would be very very useful.
Also, I tried compiling your driver from Sourceforge, but it didn't work. How could I get it working with the current kernel (2.6.32)?
I found out that NetBSD/OpenBSD have a rtl8180 driver with working master/ad-hoc. Could the Linux kernel borrow code from them?
