#83 How to import test cases to RTH? ( not test steps)

Hi,
I found there is no way to import test cases from excel. I did notice that I can import/export test steps when I edit/update a test case. but this means you will have to create test cases in teh RTH first then you can import its test steps. I wonder if the function of import/export multiple test cases including test steps from/to excel can can provided? This is important so user can migrate test cases from other systems into RTH.

I think this feature is basic since most of the teams are already using some kind of mechanism to hold the test definitions. As long as there is no standard migration tool the transition is very hard. My team is developing a tool to enable bulk provisioning of tests (no test steps included) based in soapui, and an excel file. So if you have a csv/excel it would be possible to transform your excel sheet into the one required by the tool. Basically we have included all the fields in the RTH add test form as columns in the sheet.
