Hi,
I would like to use your driver in a system
modeling/simulation project. Ideally I could plug in a
CAN device and compile your driver without any further
investigation.
Is there a recommanded CAN device? PCI and 2 ports
would be nice.

A year late this reply ;) The recommended device would be a
PCAN PCI card, with two channels, but you'll have to extend
rtcan both for the sja1000 and the pci bus (rtcan has
abstraction layers for both the bus to the CAN chip and for
the CAN chip itself).
