Hi, When two Bridges are connected with one link, we observe at least double flushing on all other Ports on both of Bridges in PROPAGATING state of Topology Change state machine. My explanation (?): the Port causes the first flushing when it becomes Forwarding, TCM of this Port transitions to DETECTED state , and it causes the transition to PROPAGATING state on other Ports. The second flushing - when the Port receives TopologyChange flag in the BPDU and NOTIFIED_TC state causes the transition to PROPAGATING state on other ports. May it be avoided (while the flushing is a very expensive operation)?
