I've made some trivial fixes. Yes, this looks very cool.

Yes. People will like it. We must keep search, because it's something
else then searching in our database.

For MS-Windows, I let you decide. Everything else should be done with
Webstart.
I have a small problem, I couldn't figure out. Why does the root node
for the category-tree always show the English translation
("My newsfeeds")? Really weird.
