But suppose I get a RSS feed that contains items A, B, and C. It
doesn't that they occur in the right hand side panel in the same order
that they appear in the RSS file. Shouldn't they?

I haven't gotten out from behind VPN to do another update yet, sorry.
This is still the pre-hotfix version that I'm running.
