First, let me say I really like your project. All the praise is well deserved.
I was looking our your project, and I like the concept of AmpetaRate that you incoroprated into the system. Its not quite generic enough for a project that I'm currently working on. I would users to be able to establish their own topics, and allow the user to have their own classification scheme. Ultimately, an RSS feed could be in several topics, and I don't think AmpetaRate can handle that type of setup.
Consequently, I'm almost done refactoring the codebase to handle different persistence layers (like a database). The only drawback is that I couldn't keep up with your release schedule, and I was working in the 1.2 codebase. Would you be interested in such a patch given that it is this late in the game? If not, I thank you for the well designed application as a good starting point for my extension.
Codebase 1.2? There is no 1.2 yet. 1.1.3 was latest.
