Could you please have a look at :

    http://feeds.bierdopje.com/bierdopje/subs/dutch

Subscribing in RSSOwl is no problem.

When I select an article and I choose right-click "Attachements", RSSOwl
proposes the download of the desired SRT file (the advertised size and
extension of the file are right !).

However, downloading results in always the same HTML file of 189KB

I already added my username and password in "Tools" - "Preferences", but no
    luck.

Could you please have look and give me some idea to download the SRT file ?

    Thanks a lot !!!!

    Hello,

I did some further investigations :

When you "open in external browser", this browser shows a dialog box and you
can download het right SRT file.

However, i would like to automate these downloads and ad an action into a
filter. And the only way I see to do this, is to download the attachment,
which results in the (wrong) HTML file.

In some other newsreaders, this problem does not occur (I think they call it
    "download the enclosure");

But I like the application RSSowl that much, that I would ask you to see if
someone sees a solution within RSSowl ?

    Tx !

    To summarise :

Right Clicking on a message in the middle-pane and choosing "Attachments"
    leads to :

    http://feeds.bierdopje.com/~r/bierdopje/subs/dutch/~3/UQIrRRSsNtw/The.Simpson
    s.S23E16.HDTV.x264-LOL.srt#rssowlmlink

Downloading this link results in the (wrong) SRT file (in fact it is an HTML
    file)

Right clicking on the title in the right-pane and choosing "Save Target As"
leads to the same link, but now downloading this (same) link results in the
    (right) SRT file

However, i would like to automate these downloads and add an action into a
filter. And the only way I see to do this, is to download the attachment,
which results in the (wrong) HTML file.

A soltution could be : Adding the "Save Target As" option to the possible
    actions in a filter.

    Can this be added ?

    Tx a lot !
