After using RSSOwl for a couple of days, I noticed that old items are gone, while other RSS clients (like FeedReader) keep all of them. That feature is incredibly useful when searching for a past event.
RSSOwl only keeps the last, let's say, 20 items. Older ones are deleted (or at least, I can't find them).
I have "Automatically save newsfeeds for offline reading" enabled, but it looks like it doesn't work or this option does something else :P
I've been searching through my HD where could the old items be. I found "\archive" and "\cache" directories which just contain a bunch of xml files. Don't tell me that old items are saved there... Searching through those files is a pain!

RSSOwl is not keeping news. It is just displaying the newsfeed as it comes.

      Don't tell me that man!
How could they not add such a useful thing! I hope that feature becomes available in future versions. Meanwhile I'll stop using RSSOwl because there's no point to it if I can't do searches. It's a pity because it had lots of great attributes.

        :)

Keep cool, it will be in by this year. Currently I am on an internship and not having so much time working on RSSOwl.
