When I start RSSOwl I get a runtime error (R6034) ms visual C++ runtime
library). When I click ok the programm starts as normal. Anyone knows what's
wrong? I use windows XP sp3.
No never heard this before.
Maybe try installing https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?fami
Just wanted to bring it to your attention that this is still an issue. According to MSDN, the error indicates that the application uses Visual C++ libraries without a manifest. Rebuilding the application with a manifest should resolve this error.
The error occurs every single time the application is launched because of the above issue.
I had Intel OpenCL SDK installed which add it's folder to my PATH variable and that folder contained: msvcr90.dll . It seams that java was loading it instead of the one from c:\windows\winsxs... After I removed Intels files the error was gone.
