Control location of .rssowl

  • Nobody/Anonymous

can I control where .rssowl with my settings is stored? It is currently in the homedirectory so therefore the settings get specific for the machine on which RSSOWL is used. I installed it on a removable disk to be used at different machines, so I would like to put it into my installation directory on that disk. I found no hint at such an option, so this might be an item for a next version.

      Hi Robert,

please define the location with a command-line option "user.home":

      "javaw -Duser.home=<Path to Dir> -Djava.library.path=. -jar rssowl.jar"

Its unfortunately not possible to use it with the rssowl.exe, if you are a windows user. But "javaw" will not show a console, so just place it into a batch or shell script and use it.
