    Hi Benjamin,

I have been very happy so far with rssowl 2 on my Ubuntu and on my Windows
system. To get another software running I had to install Visual C++ and GTK
2.0. (And I updated my Windows XP SP3.) But now I cannot start rssowl in
Windows any more and I get this:

"A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK)

must be available in order to run RSSOwl. No Java virtual machine

was found after searching the following locations:

    C:\Programme\rssowl\jre\bin\javaw.exe

    javaw.exe in your current PATH"

    Reinstalling jre-6u16-windows-i586 didn't make any difference. I really don't
know where to start my research now and I'd be grateful if you could give me a
    hint.

    Thanks

    Martin

Please set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to the location of the
Java install and it should work. You can also use the "-vm <location>"
parameter to specify the location on startup.
