I am constantly plagued with this error message.

Sometimes I can get lucky and close it and reboot and then RSSOwl will work again for a little bit before the error returns. I am shocked I don't see a post on this as the message has affected me for years.

I have experienced this on Windows XP, Vista and now Windows 7 32 bit and Windows 7 64 bit.

How do I resolve this?

If you are also having this problem please reply so people will know the magnitude of this problem. Once again it is completely unusable for me.

//Correction - it worked for a few minutes now I get the same error.
If I set the app to run in Windows 95 comparability it started worked again at least for the time being.

Hi
I don't have this error. Can you please export a log file (see http://www.rssowl.org/help#item_5 for how to do that) and post it here, upload it to something like pastebin or send me via PM.

Hi
1. Try running the cleanup wizard
2. if that does not help, try starting RSSOwl with
-vmargs -Drssowl.reindex=true -Xmx1024m
parameters from command line

Cleanup wizard does not help.

I tried your startup paramaters maybe that's the answer time will tell but so far it's OK today.

Thanks

I am having the same problem on Windows XP and Windows 7 64-bit.

When I open RSSOwl 2.14 on XP SP3, I receive an error that "Could not create the view: An unexpected exception was thrown" in the Feeds window pane. When I display the "Details", I see:

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes of course I tried that and stated that early in the message. The product is great but it just stops working. I miss it and had to switch to NewsBlur instead. I really miss the custom filters in RSS Owl. I wish they would just fix this already. It has been happening for years on various Windows OS.
