My installation keeps opening the same two tabs every time I start RSSOwl. I
do not have open last tabs in preferences and these two tabs are for feeds I
haven't looked at. It is always the same two. It must be in some remembered
file. Not having a startpage I would like to have no tabs open when I start
up, just a blank grey area. Is this possible. Thanks!
Check the properties of these two feeds (right click > properties) if they are
configured to open on startup.
Unfortunately they all are and there is no global setting I can find, so it
picks another two until you have unchecked them all - I guess. I got tired of
uchecking after about 30 or 40 feeds. I'll pick back up unchecking later.
Well, I eventually deselected all my feeds, but decided to make Reader
Recommended Items, with the headlines view, my "startpage," which is pretty
cool. If I decide I don't like it I can still start with a blank, grey area if
Ok. Btw you should be able to perform mass operations on all feeds by changing
the properties of the top most parent folder of the feeds so you dont have to
change properties for each feed one by one.
Thanks for the heads up. I might need that shortcut in the future.
