Ih, the following feed doesn't display corretly. The Umlaut encodings are showing up. Is it the feed or rssOwl?
its the feed. They are using "&auml;" instead of "ä" for an Umlaut. A lot of feeds seem to have this problem, not sure why its existing at all :-/.
I see Benjamin. Well, it's kind of sad that a pro newsmagazine makes such an unprofessional feed. But hey it's there reputation not mine. ;)
P.S.: Thanks for uploading the new Preview Release, now I can take a look at the crashing feed at last. :D
Yeah ^^. I think its a combination of using entities by the author and the feed engine that searches for all & and replaces them with &
Have seen it in lots of feeds.
The new preview shall be the last one before official 1.0 rc 1. Hope its working :)
So far working flawlessly. :D
I think there still might be a problem with Umlauts in the title (see http://mosevents.sourceforge.net/mos/index.php?option=com_eventscalrss&Itemid=43 - might be available only temporary)
Here is the XML part in question:
<description>berall heute Party!
The Ü does not render correctly as in 1.0 RC1, or am I missing something?P
Looking into the XML file, the Umlaut is replaced with the wrong value.
It is: &Uuml;
It should be: Ü
Just noticed as well. Thanks for the reply.
