    Hello,

I thought I was selecting all items in a single feed to delete and when the
warning about deleting feeds came up I thought I clicked cancel but the feeds
were all deleted. I tried restoring RSSOwl from a couple of backups but the
feeds are not showing. How do I restore the database?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    Hello again,

I am on a Mac and was following the directions under the question "RSSOwl
stopped working. What shall I do?" I found the backup and renamed it to
rssowl.db. I entered everything as directed in the Terminal but when the
terminal opened RSSOwl, RSSOwl gave the error "The RSSOwl executable launcher
was unable to locate its companion shared library. Can you tell me what to do?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I have also tried using Time Machine to restore both the RSSOwl application
and the rssowl2 folder but the feeds still don't show up.

    Hi

following "RSSOwl stopped working. What shall I do?" should work. Did you make
a backup before? Did you stop RSSOwl running?

Did you delete RSSOwl's libraries? You do not need to change any libraries,
    just configuration files!

I tried everything again and got the same error message about the shared
library. Then I noticed I could import the feeds from the backup.opml file so
I opened RSSOwl from the dock and it opened with the feeds restored.??

    thanks,

    Jeff

The .opml restores the news feeds, but no single article. Sorry, I understood
you wanted to undelete news (articles), not feeds.

I didn't get around to importing the opml file. The feeds and saved news
showed up when I opened RSSOwl. They hadn't the last time I had tried.
Something must have happened the last time I tried the terminal commands.

    Thanks,

    Jeff
