I see that the feeds with no favicons have the blue RSS icon. Some, though, have this icon that looks like a flame on a blue spot. What's that? I know these feeds do have favicons, like Slashdot.

    Thanks.

That could be the feedburner icon: http://feeds.feedburner.com/favicon.ico

I have fixed this, so that rssowl will first try to grab the favicon from the feed's homepage and not the feed's address itself. Thanks for pointing this out. This will work for most feeds that provide this homepage-information. If you find more issues please post them at dev.rssowl.org

Yeah, that's the icon. Thanks for fixing this! I look forward to seeing it in the next release, or whenever it appears.

It will be part of 2.0 M6 which should be released somewhere in may.

Hi. I'm using 2.0 M6 and the favicons have not changed. Is there something I have to do to flush the favicon cache?

      Thanks.

They are cached indeed. To remove the old ones, go into C:/Documents and Settings/your.name/.rssowl2/.metadata/.plugins/org.rssowl.ui/icons/ and delete the *.ico files.
