rssh and RedHat authentication problem

Hi,

I've installed rssh on a RH9 system and now I'm setting up a chroot 
environment for it.

I've read and followed the instructions in the CHROOT document, but I'm 
getting errors when logging in via ssh/scp:

    sshd(pam_unix)[25510]: check pass; user unknown
    sshd(pam_unix)[25510]: authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 
tty=NODEVssh ruser=rhost=marvin.rwa-net.co.uk

I'm assuming there are some libraries missing somewhere but am unsure 
how to find out which ones since I've copied the libnss files which I 
know are required.....

If anyone has anu suggestions, I'd be most grateful....
