I'm trying to set up rssh to run on a Fedora Core 3 machine. rssh version is rssh-2.2.3-1.1.fc3.rf. Some of it appears to be working, that is, I can execute rssh as root user and I get the sign on banner, it says that it is set to accept only sftp (which is what I want), but instead of giving a command prompt, it just exits.
I'm not even sure that I am testing it correctly. I also have a chroot jail which works locally from the command line, but if I try to ssh to the server, the same thing happens, I get a banner, no error messages and it exits. The username is configured in /etc/passwd to use rssh as a shell.
