RSS Bandit does not recognize an RSS feed

  • Nobody/Anonymous

    Hi all,

I am trying to use RSS Bandit to follow an RSS Feed at work. The RSS Feed sits
on the top of Sharepoint 2007, which automatically logs in the user using the
Windows username/password, another thing important to note is that the feed is
an intranet page. When I try to register for the feed I get this error:

Refresh feed 'MyFeeds\ImportantFeed' failed with error: The
ServicePointManager does not support proxies of https scheme.

The RSS Bandit version available at my work is version Does a later
version support proxies/https, if not, could you recommend me another client
that would work in my specific case.

    Thank you inadvance!!!

    Hi Petar,

I had the same issue. I solved it checking the option ''Don't use a Proxy

My problem now is how to aggregate feeds from inside and outside intranet
(i.e. some using Proxy, some don't).

That is really a use case we don't implemented: you can only have a proxy at
all or not. But maybe you can open a feature request to allow a proxy per
    category or something like that...
