Hello,

as I have to implement kind of compulsory channels, I
planned to check on every start if the channel is already
in the subscriptions.xml and to complement the file if
needed.
However I found out that if I only entered the feed-, title-
and link-tag and started RSSBandit, the feed for the
channel is downloaded and a cache-file is created in the
cache-folder, but the information of the item in the
subscriptions.xml-file is not updated (e.g. the last-
retrieved-, etag- and cacheurl-tags are not written to the
subscriptions.xml although the cache-file exists in the
cache directory).
As a consequence every time I start RSSBandit a new
cache-file is created with another GUID at the end.
Only if I once look at an article in this feed, then these
tags are written back to the subscriptions.xml (including
the stories-recently-viewed-tag).

Could you please adjust this behaviour so that
RSSBandit writes the information back to the
subscriptions.xml every time it creates a cache-file?

Thanks in advance,

taffit
