#409 feed detail, posts not visible

Some feeds only display a list of new posts in the feed
details pane. The newspaper visualization always
display new items (that works) but, the list of posts is
inconsistent across feeds...some feeds have all non-
expired posts displayed. some only show new ones.
this masks certain features. Particularly plugins (I
think?).

I experienced this problem in the wolverine beta and I
just built 1.3.0.21 and still find the same problem is
present.

This doesn't sound like a bug. Some feeds such as
newspapers will only have the news of the day in their feed
while others such as weblogs may have weeks or months of
    posts in their feed.

This depends on the site and there's nothing RSS Bandit can
    do about it.

Well, FWIW, as a point of reference.

    An RSS feed here: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerorss?f=145
    includes
only recent items but, RSS Bandit displays items back to
    2/1.

On the other hand, this feed:
    http://www.microsoftmonitor.com/index.xml (also containing
    recent
items) only shows unread items in the newspaper
    view...no "list of
    posts".

I've been subscribed to both feeds for some time. I dunno,
    seems like
items are being prematurely removed or something.

In any event, thanks for looking into things.

RSS Bandit will keep posts it has seen until you explicitly
delete them or they go past the 'Remove Items Older Than'
date you have specified. I believe this value is 1 month by
    default.

The newspaper view is only supposed to show unread items
unless you are in a search folder in which case it shows all
    posts.

I am closing this bug since it doesn't look like a bug on our
    side.
