The configuration of which toolbars are shown isn't
persisted when clising Rss Bandit and re-opening it.
Ex: hide the "Web Search Tools" toolbar, close Rss
Bandit, re-open it and the all toolbars are shown.

What Bandit version you used? I cannot repro that issue on
my WinXP .NET 1.1 machine.

I have it with last released version (and the previous one
too), on a Win2k machine with .NET 1.1.
Can you verify the security settings on "RssBandit" folder
within "Documents and Settings\<YourUserName>"? Maybe it
cannot write the file ".settings.xml"
I have full control on the "Documents and
Settings\<UserName>" folder aswell as on the "Documents
and Settings\<USerName>\Application Data\RssBandit" Folder.
And I've checked, the ".settings.xml" file is saved ok, as the
modification date get changed when I close RssBandit.
Can you please provide the .settings.xml as an attachment
Sure... if you can tell me how to, as I can't find where to
attach a file.
Scroll down this bug report page. Near the bottom is a "Check
to Upload and Attach a File:" with a browse button. Use it to
attach a file to this bug report.
No, i don't have this in the page. Maybe it's because i don't
have a SourceForge acount ?
Would you prefer that i send the ".settings.xml" file to you by
Yes, please mail (torsten.rendelmann[at]gmx.net), or create
a SF account and login. Then you should also get the
more "advanced" bug report features.
I was just doing tests on this, and setting a toolbar from
invisible to visible is always saved, but changing it from visible
to invisible seems to only be saved when closing RSS Bandit
with thw window displayed, if the window is closed (RSS
Bandit is minimized to tray) the setting isn't saved and the
toolbar is still visible next time I open Rss Bandit.

This was apparently fixed in version 220.127.116.11 (maybe .114
also, i don't remember) but I just upgraded to the Wolverine
alpha (18.104.22.168) and the problem is back.
fixed in 22.214.171.124
