#1071 js error: object doesn't support this property or method

When browsing a page with flash plugin and javascript, RSS Bandit gets stuck in an infinite exception loop.

E.g. http://politics.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/05/15/1224216 works in all stand-alone browsers (IE7, FF2.0, Opera 9.2) but throws a javascript exception when browsed within RSS Bandit on this line:

objVar900424.SetVariable ("_root.javascriptXMouse", x - findPos (objVar900424)[0]);

objVar900424 being a reference to the flash object.

The only way out of the loop is to use task manager to kill the RSS Bandit process. Unfortunately, that's only a partial fix since RSS Bandit remembers the page that was open, and re-opens it on start-up. The only save is that the feed tab becomes active, enabling the "broken" page to be closed.

RSS Bandit:
Windows XP SP2
IE 7.0.5730.11

    Javascript errors shouldn't lock up the application or propagate out to of the hosted IE control. We should see if there is some option to disable or ignore them we can set.

    Think, you enabled that option (hc.SilentModeEnabled) to be able to debug stylesheets with javascript.

    I did yet fixed that issue lately, but hardcoded to "true". Will now surround the line with a #if DEBUG #else ... to allow that on beta/debug builds, but be silent about errors in the release build(s).
